Group of LVC students in Ireland

Ireland | Limerick

Limerick is Ireland’s third most populous city with easy access to some of Ireland’s most beautiful scenery. Standing along the River Shannon, in western Ireland, Limerick dates back to Viking times around the year 922. The city center is compact and easy to navigate with a medieval quarter, a Georgian area, lively market and a thriving cultural program of festivals and events. Limerick is well connected with train and bus services, and Shannon International Airport is just a 30-minute drive from the city.
