My favorite part about LVC’s Computer Science major is the sheer amount of hands-on exposure we get to multiple different programming languages and concepts. Every class has a different flavor, unique topic or part of a system to focus on, and each of them builds out a holistic experience across many Computer Science disciplines that will suit anyone in their future career. LVC has taught me how to think cross-disciplinary, meaning I can use the skills I learn about how to approach particular coding problems outside of a Computer Science specific realm, which has taught me to communicate effectively and approach problems differently.
