The amount granted depends on your <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/help-center\/answers\/article\/what-is-sai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Student Aid Index (SAI)<\/a>, cost of attendance, your status as a full-time or part-time student, and your plans to attend school for a full academic year or less.\u00a0Learn more about\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/understand-aid\/types\/grants\/pell#how-much-money-can-i-get\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">how PELL Grant amounts are determined.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>SEOG Grant &#8211; Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Need-based grant from the federal government.<\/li>\n<li>Amount awarded between $100 and $4,000 depending on your SAI as determined by the FAFSA and availability of funds.<\/li>\n<li>This grant is awarded to students demonstrating the greatest financial need. Due to the limited allocation that LVC receives from the federal government, not all students who demonstrate maximum financial need will qualify.<\/li>\n<li>This grant helps to supplement the LVC Need-Based Grant program and is not awarded as an additional aid. If in a subsequent year, you are no longer eligible for SEOG, you will be awarded LVC Need-Based Grant in the equivalent amount.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Pennsylvania State Grant (for full- and part-time undergraduate Pennsylvania residents)<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Need-based grant administered by Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA).<\/li>\n<li>Maximum award for 2024-25 for full-time enrollment &#8211; $5,750, regardless of online or in-person classes. Eligibility and amount of award will be determined by the institution based on the merit scholarship awarded by LVC, other federal and state grants received, and your financial need. Notification of the award will be made via the financial aid offer. Eligibility requires continued financial need, as demonstrated using federal methodology (the FAFSA) on an annual basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n                    <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        \n            \n            <div class=\"accordion__item\" x-data=\"{ id: 'teach-grant_block_d1a29b827a7a365fa2004f4a02043d06_4' }\">\n                <button\n                    class=\"accordion__item-button\"\n                    id=\"accordion-button-teach-grant_block_d1a29b827a7a365fa2004f4a02043d06_4\"\n                    aria-controls=\"accordion-content-teach-grant_block_d1a29b827a7a365fa2004f4a02043d06_4\"\n                    x-bind=\"accordionToggle\">\n                    <span>TEACH Grant<\/span>\n\n                    \n                    <svg aria-hidden=\"true\" focusable=\"false\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" class=\"accordion__item-button-icon\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" x=\"0px\" y=\"0px\" viewBox=\"0 0 26 26\">\n    <path class=\"accordion__item-button-icon-circle\" stroke-width=\"2\" d=\"M13,1C6.4,1,1,6.4,1,13s5.4,12,12,12s12-5.4,12-12C24.9,6.4,19.6,1,13,1\"\/>\n    <path class=\"accordion__item-button-icon-plus\" d=\"M13.7,12.1V6.3h-1.1v5.8H6.5v1.1h6.1v6.3h1.1v-6.3h5.8v-1.1C19.5,12.1,13.7,12.1,13.7,12.1z\"\/>\n<\/svg>\n                <\/button>\n                <div\n                    class=\"accordion__item-content\"\n                    id=\"accordion-content-teach-grant_block_d1a29b827a7a365fa2004f4a02043d06_4\"\n                    aria-label=\"accordion-button-teach-grant_block_d1a29b827a7a365fa2004f4a02043d06_4\"\n                    x-bind=\"accordionContent\"\n                >\n                    <div class=\"accordion__item-content-inner\">\n                        <p><strong>Reduction Due to Sequestration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A student who is eligible to receive the full TEACH Grant for 2025\u201326 with a first disbursement prior to Oct. 1, 2025, will receive $3,772 for the academic year.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/understand-aid\/types\/grants\/teach\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant<\/a>\u00a0Program provides grants to students enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program who intend to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In exchange for receiving a TEACH Grant, you must agree to serve as a full-time teacher in a high-need field in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves low-income students. As a recipient of a TEACH Grant, you must teach for at least four academic years within eight calendar years of completing the program of study for which you received a TEACH Grant. IMPORTANT: If you fail to complete this service obligation, all amounts of TEACH Grants that you received will be converted to a Federal Direct Subsidized\/Unsubsidized Loan. You must repay this loan to the U.S. Department of Education (ED). You will be charged interest from the date the grant was disbursed.<\/li>\n<li>If you are an incoming student, you must have a high school cumulative grade point average or the equivalent of 3.25 or higher. If you are a current student, you must have a college cumulative grade point average of 3.25. GPA is reviewed at the end of each semester.<\/li>\n<li>For more information about the TEACH Grant, please review\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Student Aid<\/a>\u00a0website.<\/li>\n<li>Eligible students are required to complete initial\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/app\/launchTeach.action\" rel=\"noopener\">entrance counseling\u00a0<\/a>for the first year and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/app\/launchTeach.action\" rel=\"noopener\">subsequent counseling<\/a>\u00a0for each year thereafter. In addition, students must complete an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/app\/launchTeach.action\" rel=\"noopener\">Agreement to Serve or Repay<\/a>\u00a0each year. Chafee Foster Care Program for Successful Transition to Adulthood. You still qualify for the waiver even if you do not receive funding through the Chafee program.<\/li>\n<li>Be identified as a youth who is or was in foster care, or was discharged from foster care on or after attaining age 16, OR has exited foster care on or after age 16 to adoption or permanent legal guardianship<\/li>\n<li>Be enrolled as an undergraduate, at least half time in a postsecondary institution that is approved by the U.S. Department of Education for Title IV student °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø programs<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate financial need for the PA Chafee Education and Training Grant (as
